On April 29, 2008, Content Industries, a Vienna based association at the crossroads of content and technology, celebrated the City of Vienna’s decision to build up an extensive fibre to the home network in the next few years. Vienna city counsellor Barbara Novak, FTTH representative Christian Rein of blizznet and other guests spoke on the importance of FTTH for Vienna’s international competitiveness.

Evolaris manager Christian Kittl presented the first study on Web 2.0 content in Austria. Content Industries’ president Roman Tolic, public TV veteran and creator of Herkules Film Network, pointed out that content is as important as technology for Vienna’s ambitious goal to become Europe’s “content valley”.TV icon and actor Dieter Chmelar added a highlight in his show act. The event was moderated by Guenther Krumpak of ITBeurope.

The conference took place in downtown Vienna’s cosy “Kruger’s American Bar” whose owner Hedi Zinoecker also owns a multimedia agency and is member of Content Industries. Sponsors were ZIT, blizznet and VITE.

The ITBeurope Match Making Forum MMF at ITnT, Vienna, Feb. 5-7, 2008

Digital Austria - ITnT's eGov special - one of the highlights at last year's ITnT. Photo: Reed Exhibitions.

A trade show is only as good as its contacts. The quality of the leads on the list is all that counts after several costly and exhausting days a company invests in an exhibition.
That is why the lead management is crucial. The more organised, the better. The more detailed information one can get on one’s visitors the more successful the follow up will be.
The same is valid for a visitor’s exhibition schedule. No walking around at random, no erratic chit-chat here and there. Today, time is a valuable resource and attending exhibitions and conferences must turn out in some measurable ROI.
That is why Reed Exhibitions offers precise meeting management all through ITnT 2008 FOR FREE.
The Match Making Forum MMF, run by Reed Exhibition’s partner ITBeurope, turns your visit into an efficient meeting schedule talking to exhibitors and experts who are exactly matching your interests.
All ticket holders and exhibitors register for free HERE.
