Trainings for ICT professionals and entrepreneurs presenting their developments and services to upgrade their public performance.
Many ICT people are brilliant technicians but poor presenters.
The world’s idiom of ICT is English. Especially people whose mother tongue is not English often fail in convincing investors or potential customers – not because their product is bad, but because they do not manage to work out their USPs, they do not manage to transfer their message, they do not excite!
Of course, standing in front of a curious audience, everybody thinks he or she is the most important person on the spot. In reality, he or she is one in many, selling comparable technology in an enormous market which is characterised by only one word: competition.
What people keep in mind after a presentation is mainly the presenter, his or her charisma, his or her ability to fascinate, the impression he or she leaves with the audience.
Presenting is selling. Primarily oneself - the products, the services, or even just simply an idea, a concept, rank second.
An impressive presence, a convincing argumentation, a stable and understandable vocabulary, a clear message – that’s what remains, that’s what determines the future of what you try to conveigh.
ITBeurope offers a new series of seminars, titled “Presentations and Public Speaking in English for ICT Professionals and Entrepreneurs”, on three levels:
Basic, Advanced, and Top.
Basic and Advanced are one day seminars for individuals and small groups of max. eight participants; Top coachings are 1:1 coachings on an individual basis. The seminars can be organised in house or as public workshops and are efficient and affordable. They usually start with – the participants introduction supported by a visualisation, e.g. a .ppt presentation.
The key to a successful public appearance
The key is you. You know that, but you’re afraid to admit it. You think it’s the pictures, the product, your new suit or whatsoever. Sure, these aspects contribute to the picture, the show you perform in front of a curious audience. It’s innumerable details – looks, walk, mimic, gestures, voice, intonation, movements – the body language, the key words, the teasers, the texts and images on your presentation, the way you react to the audience’s reaction…
There’s no recipe. But there’s tools, there’s experience, there’s means to recognise the impact of your performance on your audience. And your audience are by far not only customers or investors. It’s also your staff, your boss, the human resources people in a new company, someone you try to convince of your ideas…
You can train these skills. With us.
The seminars are organised on three levels: Basic, Advanced and Top. We offer 1 day seminars for levels 1 and 2 and individual arrangements for level 3. Click here!
